I use it and it's great, but if you want a normal directory PHPld is better. WSN as so many options it could be daunting for a non-technical person…Support is…much better and fast than PHPld forums. IMHO this script is simpl(y) astonishing and after years seeing thousands of other php scripts I never found the same level of technical perfection and achievement, WSN is just light years away from PHPld and probably anything else, just not suited for non-technical people, also missing are free or custom made skins. = = posted by !Ask! K-Links is a link directory script that helps you to create and manage a complex web directory like Yahoo and DMOZ -  City Guides, Business Directories and more.

K-Links comes in 4 versions, however only the two most expensive versions support monetization features like paid links/memberships or Adwords and extra functionality such as CSV import capability.

100% template/CSS driven. Customizing the directory interface does not require any knowledge of PHP.  Search engine friendly URLs. Supports multiple category levels; reciprocal links; polls; paid listings with online payment; Adwords integration; newsletters; banner displays, but not banner rotation..  Video files are not supported. Only 2 templates available.

Caveats:

1. There are two types of licenses – the Single license and the Unlimited license. The single one allows users to install the script on one site only; the unlimited license can be used on any number of sites. However, all domains running K-Links’ unlimited license script must be owned by the same person or company and the WHOIS information must reflect this. WHOIS information must be publicly available for viewing.
2. Upgrading from reg to premium versions may cause issues if the templates have been extensively customized.

OUR COMMENTS:  The public support forum contains several problem queries, including some urgent and/or significant problems, many of which were common to several users.  Some of these postings have remained unanswered for months. It would appears that Tech support for this product is somewhat lacking.
